Biloba is an independent publishing house based in Canada, dedicated to literature, the humanities, and the arts.
The name Biloba comes from Ginkgo biloba, a living fossil that has endured across centuries. Its divided leaf suggests multiplicity and balance: reason and emotion, text and form, tradition and experiment. These tensions shape our editorial vision.
We publish works that attend closely to language, thought, and material presence. Our books are conceived not only as vessels of content, but as cultural objects—carefully edited, designed, and produced to endure.
